When did you first learn to ride?

As a toddler I was put on at pony but I started to have lessons when I was 6.

What was your first pony Like?

He was a black Dartmoor pony, 11.2hh called Dingy.

What was your first win?

A dressage competition on Dingy in the Pony Club.

What has been your biggest achievement so far?

Winning the Luhmuhlen CCI****  2007 on Two Thyme.

What have been your top results?

British Open Champion 2004
Scottish Open Champion 2006, runner up 2007>br />Winner at Blair Castle CCI*** 2003
11th Badminton 2006
17th Burghley 2006
Won and placed in numerous World cup qualifiers.

Who do you most admire in Eventing?

My owners who support me 100% of the way.

What makes a top event horse?

A horse with a super temperament combined with fabulous movement, jump, gallop and rideability.

Who are your top horses?

Two Thyme, Marsh Mayfly, Muschamp Impala, Mr Dumbledore, Fast Track and Mayhem.

What are your other interests?

Not much time for any but love skiing and spending time with my husband.

What are your favourite Puffa products?

Kersey gillet, Woodbridge jacket, Culford Fleece and Snape Jacket.

What are your top tips for other riders?

Patience and dedication will reap rewards.

Who are your best friends in the Eventing scene?

I"ve got loads of mates as the sport is so friendly and everyone helps each other but one of my best friends is Lucy Wiegersma.

Do you ever get nervous before an event?

At the big competitions, yes but thats channelled into focus and the keeness to do well.

What are your future ambitions?

To compete successfully for Team GB at European,World and Olympic Level. Also compete successfully at Grand Prix level in Dressage.

Judy Harvey, who has trained me for 10 years, who is my mentor and is always on hand for advice.
